Boycott USA

boycott assets & info

Why boycott the USA?

There are many reasons: wars of aggression, support for fascist dictatorships , complicity in and support for massacres and genocide, and anti-democratic interference in other countries' politics. At a more everday level, U.S. cultural and technological products have become ubiquitous in many parts of the world, despite the fact that these are used by the U.S. government as propaganda and spyware. Recently, the U.S. government has implemented punitive tariffs on countries around the world. People from many countries have reacted by rejecting U.S. goods and services and launching consumer boycotts. This website provides some ribbon images to show support for these boycotts, as well as linking to some lists of digital services that can replace the the U.S. ones.

Vector ribbon images (like the one at the top of this page) ready for use on your website:

To add one of the ribbons above to your website, first download the file (see link above) and add it to your website code.
Then you can include it with the following code (assuming the image is at your website root directory):

<style>
    .ribbon {
        position: absolute;
        top: 0px;
        right: 0px;
    }

    .ribbon img {
        height: 170px;
        width: 170px;
    }
</style>
<div class="ribbon">

        <img alt="Boycott USA" src="/boycott-usa.svg" />
    </a>
</div>

U.S. tech has become so embedded into everyday life that it can seem difficult to replace it!

But there are plenty of alternatives out there. Here's a list of services I've used to replace U.S. tech:

Amazon Web Services Alibaba Cloud China (data centres worldwide)
G Suite (GMail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets etc) Zoho Suite India
